Last Saturday I spent the day glamourfying Jessie and her bridal party at the gorgeous Melross Farm in the Kangaroo Valley.
Jessie wore a gorgeous beaded wedding dress with a sweet-heart neckline with soft straps that sat slightly off her shoulders
Makeup and hair
The bride opted for a fresh look with her makeup so I kept it quite light with her foundation as she has almost flawless Asian skin I wanted to show that off. Next I tailored Jessie’s Eyebrows to create a nice full frame, I used a new product which I love from Ardell in Medium brown, its a mix between a cream and a wax- which is great to control the hair in the direction you want.
On Jessie’s eyes i used a Bobbi Brown long wear cream shadow stick in “Sand dune” this is honestly one of my “go to’s” I know some people tend to steer clear of cream shadows as some can crease but this is fantastic and dosn’t budge. Sometimes I even use this as an undercoat for shimmers of pressed eyeshadows to add intensity. Next i lined and flicked the eyes with MAC fluid line and applied a full strip of Shu uemura false lashes. These lashes are fabulous especially for Asian eyes as they are slightly thicker and have a beautiful feathery look to them. Really did make an impact!
For Jessie’s hair as it was quite fine I cheated and used a Sharon Blain hair padding- these are fabulous as they are literally hair bundled up in a soft netting so they give a nice full look whilst being undetectable! As you can see I then gathered the hair to the side to create a soft chignon. A little shine spray from NAK and she was good to go!
Makeup and hair for the Bridesmaids was all a little different to bring out the girls personalities and style. Hair was chic and makeup was concentrated around the eyes in bronze/charcoal tones. I used the shimmer brick by Bobbi Brown and MAC pigment pots to create a soft dewy look.
